The fans are standing in anticipation of the next bit of action. So far tonight, they haven't been disappointed. The fans enthusiasm quickly turns to boos, as they hear the words " I hear voices in my head" begin to play across the PA.
Sure enough, Randy orton emerges from the back. At first he stands on the ramp giving the crowd a look of utter disdain. Finally he makes his way down the aisle. He enters the ring through the ropes and removes a mic from his back pocket. As the music dies down, he begins to speak. The audience boos even while he says his first few words, but they eventually quiet down as he speaks.
"You know for the last few days, something has really started to infuriate me. Something has really sparked my ire. Something has me irate."
The fan's boo, assuming that they'll hate whatever he has to say. As usual Orton pays them little mind as he continues.
"You see, there's a man running around here, named Chris Jericho. (Cheers from the capacity crowd) There's a guy named Chris Jericho, who's constantly, non-stop, talking about all his great past FCW accomplishment. He talks about how he never lost the FCW world title. Well, I've got news for you Chris, me and the boys in the back are getting a little tired of it. Nobody gives a damn about what you did before. Nobody but you."
"Now, while I'll be the first to admit, I don't give a damn about the boys in the back. While I'll admit they're probably tired of hearing me say some things, the fact is every superstar on this roster has talked about becoming world champion. We all do it."
"You though, Chris, you constantly talk about how great you were. Well, last time I checked this was the FCW re-debut. That means it was around before, and closed down. Now, if you "never lost the title" in a company that closed down, I'd have to say you dropped the ball. If the company you represented as world champion, number one guy in the company, went under. Well then, I'd have to say, you sucked as champion."
"You see Chris, when you are a company's world champion. It's all on your shoulders. It's up to you to rally the troops. It's up to you to put asses in seats. And when it comes down to it Chris, you just didn't cut it. What in the hell makes you think this company's ownership, these people, or the men in that locker room wanna put their faith in you?"
"The way I see it Chris, you had your shot, and you failed. I will not stand by while you, a worthless excuse for a champion, try to make your way back to the top. While you try to reclaim a spot you've already proven you can't handle. A spot you've already proven you don't deserve. No Chris, you won't be champion. I promise you that. I am going to personally see to that."
With that Orton drops the mic as his theme begins to play again.
