The screen comes to life and reveals a black and white image overlooking the city of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The familar theme music of the classic 1972 Academy Award Winning movie The Godfather begins to play. After several seconds, the music is interrupted by the ear-piercing bang of a pistol being fired. Blood splatters on the camera and begins to drip down. The blood begins to form letters, and then words. "THE MAFIA'S ARRIVAL" appears on the screen, as if they were written there in crimson ink. The bloody words begin to dissapear and the image is now in full color.
The camera pans downward and zooms in on a large brown house. The camera zooms in on the house, revealing two men, in matching leather jackets and sunglasses, standing outside smoking cigarettes.
Just then, a black 1979 Cadillac pulls into the driveway. The camera zooms in on the Cadillac just as the driver exits the car. The only thing the camera picks up is the man's feet as the person steps out of the car. A cigarrette drops on the ground and is crushed by one of the large feet. The camera slowly pans up, revealing another leather jacketed man, this one, though, is much heavier and wears his black hair in a ponytail. The man removes his sunglasses and we get a good look at the man's face. The large man begins to walk toward the house, accompanied by a brown haired man in a gray pinstripe suit who is just stepping out of the passanger's side of the Cadillac.
The brown haired man holds a breifcase in his hand, but we are not able to indentify him due to the camera filming behind him. The two men approach the house and the large man opens the door.
LARGE MAN. After you.
The brown haired man enters the house, followed by the large man. The two step inside the house, where several men, mostly of Italian and Sicilian descent loiter about. Large man and brown haired man pass through the living room, all of the men inside the house stare at brown haired man, intrigued by his appearence at their residence.
The two men walk down a hallway and approach a door. Large man raps on the door a few times. There is a pause, then a muffled voice can be heard from within.
VOICE. Yes?
LARGE MAN. Hey, yo, Boss! It's me, Graziano! I gots someone here who says he's gots some business with yous.
BOSS. Oh yeah. Of course! Send him in, cousin.
Graziano opens the door and he and brown haired man enter the room. Inside there is a man seated at a desk, but he is turned away from the camera. He sits in a leather chair, looking out the window with his feet propped up on the window sill. He holds a cigar in his hand and smoke floats from the cigar about the room. The man wears a gray fedora hat and a tan suit jacket. The camera pans around to get a better look at the face of brown haired man, just as he begins to identify himself.
BROWN HAIRED MAN. Hello, Mr. Leone. We spoke on the phone earlier. I'm Jere-
LEONE. I know who you are. I watch you on television every week. You're Jeremy Borash of Full Contact Wrestling.
BORASH. Yes I-
LEONE. Don't talk! Just hand me the paperwork and leave.
BORASH. But there are some things that-
LEONE. I said give me the paperwork!
There is a beat of silence. Jeremy Borash then reaches into his breifcase and draws out a thick packet and slaps it down on Mr. Leone's desk. There is a long silence. Leone takes a long drag on his cigar before speaking again.
LEONE. You do realize I am a busy man, don't you? You do realize that I don't have time for your shit, don't you?
There is a momentary silence. Borash shifts about, uncomfortably. After a nearly ten seconds with no one speaking, Leone spins around in his chair and faces the camera for the first time. Here we see all of his features. The dark complexion, the menacing eyes are seen for the first time.
LEONE. You have no idea what it's like...being a Don.
