Scene opens up to an exterior shot of an enormous mansion in the city of Los Angeles, where the FCW camera is behind the gates that gives authorized access to the owner of this alluring fortress. With the row of security guards standing by, the chances of a break-in are slim to none. We quickly cut to a mailbox labeled ‘Alonzo Parker’, which would justify the sumptuous atmosphere of the place. A beautiful, silver, Porsche Carrera GT is seen pulling in to be granted admission. The gates slowly slide open, as he glares at the camera with a cocked eyebrow behind his shades. He’s holding up a newspaper with his left arm, reading something about the forthcoming Friday Night Anarchy card.
“Well, it looks like management has finally taken notice. They have more brains than I imagined. It’s still a very small amount of brains, but at least they have some. What am I talking about? Two words: Ultimate X. The opportunity of a lifetime, a shot at greatness. I could go on and on about its importance, although I’m pretty sure you ingrates know it’s significant. To cut to the chase, four opponents will be vying for a title shot. And whoever wins, let’s just say there’ll be big things ahead for them. Make no mistake about it, I will be that man. I just have one minor hindrance standing in my way, one little peasant. Of course I’m talking about Cody Rhodes."
Alonzo motions with his arm for the camera to follow him. He drives at a snail’s pace so he can say a few words about his opponent.
“Cody, you have no clue how far I’ll go to get what I want. I will go to extraordinary lengths to obtain what I desire. But this week, I don’t think I’ll even have to lift a finger. It’s nothing personal. You’re just not good enough. You can’t hang with me in the ring, we all saw the match. You struggled to keep up with me, and you fell short at that. Let me tell you something, history doesn’t lie, and this upcoming Anarchy, it will only be repeated. I’m better than you. Call it luck, make all the excuses you want for your downward spiral, but it’s going to happen again. I’m going to make an example out of you, and take the reward that comes with it; a ticket to Ultimate X.”
The mere thought of winning the match makes him lose focus. He then picks up where he left off, taking off the sunglasses and directing his attention back to the camera.
“You see, Cody, it seems as if the tables have turned. There’s no way you can look at me the same way you did two weeks ago. I’m not some punk kid running his mouth for no good reason. As demonstrated in our match, I live up to the hype. I lecture others about my perfection because I can back it up. You underestimated me, and it bit you in the ass. I just hope you’re not delusional this time around. We both know that won’t do you any good, you’ll only embarrass yourself further. I’m telling you, even I’m starting to pity Randy Orton for his poor judgment. He’s better off coaching Eggman rather than a big pile of manure like you.”
The car comes to a halt as ‘The Spotlight’ steps out in an expensive suit. He slams the door shut and walks up the steps, stopping to peer over his shoulder.
“Nevertheless, I’m not here to criticize. Your flaws are obvious enough as they are, there’s no need for me to point them out. In fact, it’s not even about you. It’s all about me, the Million Dollar Player, the Innovative High Roller. It’s about my rise to prominence. Step one, commences this week. Step two, will unfold at Summer Salvation. And step three, is when my waist gets fifteen pounds heavier. It’ll happen alright, and you can take that straight to the bank.”
Alonzo grins, and shoves the camera out of his face. The scene soon fades to black.
