So WTF is an "ULTIMATE X" and why am I trying to Qualify?

It's a glorified stuntfest "invented" by TNA. Basically there is an "X" shaped construct (I'm pretty sure they string cables up) above the ring, they then hang something from the middle of the "X". The winner is whoever gets the aforementioned something down.
In the realm of FCW the winner of the Ultimate X match at Salvation gets a title shot? So I guess you're trying to qualify because you: A) Really like climbing. B) Want a title shot. or C) REALLY like climbing.

LOL well I feel honored to be given the chance at earning some gold then. Honestly I haven't watched wrestling since around 1999 but now that I think of it I've heard of this match type. Works well for EC, climb something then jump off and hope you hit. LOL if I remember right climbing and jumping off shit was his xtreme wrestling style. Thanks FCW booker, sorry for making fun of your excessive hair gel.

Well I don't exactly know what your plans are, or if you have any. And it's your second match, you're still just getting started here so either way we can't throw you into something big right away.

Virus just imagine there was some backstage problems preventing a wrestler from competing, you got the call, a chance to wrestle your 1st (?) FCW match.

Well virus with all do respect you did a brief introductory promo and... oh wait a minute that was it, so we don't really have a lot to go off of. Sometimes people need to be thrown in matches when they have nothing else to do and that's pretty much your situation.

Friday Night Anarchy Eggman vs. Robert Saints Eggman dominated this match, tossing Robert Saints around the ring like he was nothing. The costumed 'hero' ended this one early, finishing the match after nailing Saints with the Scrambler. Winner: Eggman via pinfall at 5:22 Blade LaVigne & Evan Bourne vs. Dan Hellman & Lance Copeland This was a one-sided battle with Bourne and LaVigne dominating Copeland and Hellman. LaVigne tossed the two men around, clearly looking better than he had in recent weeks. Blade put the two men down quickly, finally snapping his losing streak and picking up the win for his team against an admittedly pathetic duo. Winners: Blade LaVigne & Evan Bourne via pinfall at 4:35 Ultimate X Qualifier The Edgecrusher vs. Raven Edgecrusher destroyed Raven, making him look like a fool. If Raven went for a simple punch it looked like he was going to fall over anyways Edgecrusher would counter it, sending Raven down to the mat, which has become his second home since debuting. Edgecrusher ended this one early, keeping the fans from getting bored of the squash, like they have of FCW's least talented hasbin. Winner: The Edgecrusher via pinfall at 3:53 Alexander Parise & Randy Orton vs. Triple H & Virus Triple H and the Virus had no business being in the same ring as these two men, especially Virus. Although the Game looked pretty good he could not hold his own against either of these men. Parise and Orton made about one tag in the duration of this match, and when they locked eyes hatred was clearly visible. Parise ended this one early pinning Virus without breaking a sweat, picking up another win. Winner: Alexander Parise and Randy Orton via pinfall at 3:52 Ultimate X Qualifier Alonzo Parker vs. Cody Rhodes Parker continued his streak of domination, not wasting any time taking out Rhodes who didn't look like he could compete in a house show. Alonzo picked up another win, this time qualifying for Ultimate X in the process. Winners: Alonzo Parker via pinfall at 4:22 Matt Kraven vs. Wizz Kidd
The fans were disappointed for this one, having to see a sight for sore eyes. These two were weak to say the least. Neither man really put forth the effort, but Wizz still managed to barely pick up the win over his rival the pitiful and inconsistent Kraven. Winner: Wizz Kidd via pinfall at 3:34 Luminous Robin vs. Karl Storm
Both of these men put forth their best, but Robin was just returning looked a little better. Robin pulled out some great moves, reminding these fans and Storm why he is 15 and 0. Storm did loom good, though, and he mustered some strong offense, but it wasn't enough to best Robin who in turn nailed the Climax to pick up the big win over Storm. Winner: Luminous Robin via pinfall at 10:24 Seifer Blacke vs. Edge
Seifer Blacke put on a good show, but the same couldn't be said towards is opponent, Edge. Edge didn't look good, a trend that has been growing in recent weeks, and the man who took his place in the World Title match put him away early and without any effort, picking up the big win. Winner: Seifer Blacke via pinfall at 5:22
