The scene opens in the FCW Friday Night Anarchy Arena. Fans on their feet excited for the second Anarchy following the epic Last Resort Pay-Per-View. There were ups and downs for every superstar. Upsets and sure wins. Beating, bruising, and memories that will never fade away. For superstars and superfans alike. The images burned in their head, both good and bad, will never leave. Especially for one man. Memories one man will never forget. The pain of having two hands wrapped tightly around your head. Then, jumping in the air followed by being slammed into the mat. Surely causing a concussion. Or, at least some sort of devastating injury. Though that event was traumatizing for sure, he didn't let it keep him down. Just a few days following the devastation, he bounces back, defeating one of FCW's top superstars to become number one contender for Alexander Parise's FCW World Championship.
YOU THINK YOU KNOW ME?
For the first time since becoming number one contender, Edge is about to be seen. Once again without his championship. A championship sitting on the shelf of one Alexander Parise. Sitting in a spot where it won't be cherished for it's true glory. Whereas if it were still with Edge, it would be constantly polished, and also be worn with pride. All of the sudden, the entrance way fills with smoke, in anticipation for this Rated R Superstar.
JR: Here he comes, the man who defeated Jimmy Gimmick last week to become number one contender for the FCW World Heavyweight Championship.
King: That's right JR, number one contender. He's one of the best, ya know?
As King finishes up what seemed to be a compliment, Edge emerges from the smoke, triumphantly as always. But once again without gold on his shoulder. Making his way to the ring in his normal fashion, Edge shoots off his signature pyros before making his way to the center of the ring, microphone in hand.
Last Sunday, I was robbed. Thievery seemed to be the theme of the night. Match after match, surprise after surprise. And in the Main Event, the most surprising thing of all happened. An RKO shook the place. The neckbreaker heard 'round the world. I was defeated, somehow. Seemingly vacating my championship then and there.
Edge seems to get a little choked up. While the fans sit and laugh at his distress.
But, last week on Anarchy!
Edge gets a sudden boost, causing the crowds laughter to turn into the distress Edge was once feeling.
Last week, I took on Jimmy Psychopath. It was like I didn't even have to try. The crazy guy took himself out. It wasn't even a challenge. At first I thought it was because he was just crazy. But I then realized when Gimmick basically "layed down" for me, it was the most sane thing anyone has done for me. He accepted his own inferiority. Let me pick up the victory. Because he knows just as well as the rest of you. I WILL BE CHAMPION! Because there is no doubt I'm the best. Better than Gimmick, better than his daddy, better than Parise, better than Wizz Kidd, than Kaz, than Seifer, than Rhodes, and damn well better than Mr. Kennedy!
Almost instantaneously, like he knew it was going to be said. The familiar music played. The surprise of the night for sure.
