The Return of the Cutting Edge

[Edge]

All of the sudden, the entire arena goes silent, the lights go out. No one knows what's going to come next. Out of nowhere, a huge fireworks explosion takes place. Afterward, a very loud question is heard:

YOU THINK YOU KNOW ME?

The most familiar question in FCW rocks the arena as fans old and young get on their feet for the Rated R Superstar.

JR: Well here he is, the man who wants to prove himself Friday night against Wizz Kidd. The man who wants to show everyone that he is "The best superstar in FCW."

Tazz: Well JR, it's kinda hard to argue there, he is EDGE after all. I can't wait till Friday.

As Tazz speaks, Edge makes his way through the smokey entrance way. Whenever the full-body figured Edge comes out the crowd goes even more nuts. Everyone is on their feet.

JR: And Tazz, look what we have in the ring.


Tazz: You're right JR, it's time for The Cutting Edge.

JR: It's been a while Tazz, and think of some great memories we have of The Cutting Edge.

Tazz: Indeed JR, including classics with Randy Orton, Jeff Jarrett, and many others.


JR: Alright, let's see who Edge has brought this time.

By the time JR and Tazz are done talking, Edge is in the center of the ring, mic in hand.

Edge: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to THE RETURN OF THE CUTTING EDGE!

The crowd gets on their feet for their favorite FCW Talk Show.

Edge: And tonight, boy do I have something great in store for you all. But first, I'd like to talk about my opponent for next Friday, the Quizz Kidd, Quizz, give up already. There's no need for you to try anymore. Save your energy for your midcard opponents my friend. You're just wasting your time.


Edge looks around seeming satisfied with trashing on his opponent

Edge: Now for my guest. Everyone knows who he is, everyone loves the guy. Including me. Everyone get on your feet stand tall and yell loud. He is Captain Charisma, my best friend

The arena goes dark again as the fans notice the countdown on the titan tron. 9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9 BOOM! A massive pyro goes off that startles the crowd. Out from the smoke of the pyro come "The Instant Classic" Christian Cage. He walks down the ramp with a cocky smile on his face. Christian walks up the stairs and enters the ring. Christian then grabs a mic off a chair.

Christian: Am I lucky or what? I am the first person to be on the new cutting edge, but this still isn't as good as being on the peep show.

Christian and edge laugh.

Christian: Just kidding, man can you guys believe it edge and Christian are back.

crowd cheers

Christian: Since edge addressed his opponent I guess I will to. Cena I can't wait to beat you in Anarchy's main event, and with edge in my corner I can't lose. Enough with that. Hey crowd how would you like to see a 30 second pose?

Crowd cheers with excitement

Christian: What do you say edge?

MY TIME IS NOW

The crowd sparks to life as Cena bursts through the curtain.

King - What is Cena doing here? This is the cutting Edge. Christian is the guest, not Cena.

Cena looks down at the two and smiles at them as he sees the look of disgust on their face.

Cena then takes off at a run and heads down the ramp.

He slides under the ring and salutes the fans.

Cena then pics up a mic and looks straight at Christian.

Cena - I am sorry to interupt but did you just say that you want to have these fans sit for 30 seconds as you pose. I am sorry Christian but I just have to stop you there. These fans did not come here to see you two pose in the ring. Sure Christian, I am sure Edge did not come here to pose with you either. This is the Cutting Edge. Not some place where you can declare how amazing and special your friendship is.



Cena - It is Edge and Christian back again. We get it. There is no need to declare it at every moment. (Cena now speaks sarcastically) I mean, it is not like you are feeling the need to be linked to a former world champion Christian.

The crowd are cheering loud for Cena.

Cena - On our first Anarchy, you and me will meet in the ring. It is John Cena vs Christian. Not Edge and Christian. Edge can be at ringside, he can be in the back, hell, he can be in Australlia for all I care. But as much as you want, he is not in our match. So why don't you shut up about him and focus more on the fact that this friday, you have a mountain to over come in the form of John Cena.

Cena then turns to Edge

Cena - Now this is your show so I am not going to ignore you. If you chose to show up on friday, that is your choice. But make sure that it is your choice and not because of this. You are a former world champion so you should be acting like it. We are in a tough business and can use as much friends as possible. But this is still a business about being the best. There can only be one guy at the top. Now do you really think that if given the chance, either of you are going to consider the other before yourself.

Edge and Christian just stare back at Cena.

Cena - But what do I know, I am just the competition. Edge, if you do show up, it will be at you own risk. If I am to go down, you can be sure that i will be going down fighting. I am here to become the FCW world heavyweight champion and my the Lord have mercy on any one who tries to stop me.

TBC - Edge or Christian

[Edge]

Edge takes a good hard look at Christian before turning his attention back to Cena.

JR: It seems tensions are starting to get high between the former tag team champions

Tazz: Man, I can't wait until Friday!

Edge: Cena, how could you be so stupid? You don't come out to MY show. And basically threaten two of FCW's top stars. I mean, in this ring, right now, there are three men. Two of those men are partners. And both of those two men dislike the third man. And those certain two men could definitely take out that third man.

The crowd stays silent in preparation of what's going to happen again.

Edge: If it were up to me, I would kick your ass right here right now.


The crowd is on their feet ready for an all out brawl

Edge: But....

The crowd quickly goes silent now knowing nothing is going to happen

Edge: But, I'm just too close to becoming the first ever FCW World Heavyweight Champion. I can't risk losing that opportunity over something as stupid as this.

TBC: Cena or Christian

Christian: Cena you better watch who you come out and interrupt. If you mess with Edge & Christian you might just be introduced to the Con-Chair-To. I don't need to focus on you Cena, It would be a waste of time.

Edge & Christian fans cheer as Cena's fans boo.

Christian: I can't even imagine losing to you.

Christian turns and looks at edge

Christian: Edge, I don't care if you show up or not. Do whatever you feel like, but I know that I will be in you corner in your match with the Wizz Kid.

[Wizz Kidd]

Holy Diver by Killswitch Engage blares over the P.A. system. Wizz Kidd walks out from behind the curtain with a mic in his right hand and a garbage can in his left hand. He raises the mic to his mouth. And speaks with a cloudy voice.

Edge, I cannot allow you to get the victory over me this Friday. So instead of it just being a singles match I say we spark things up and make it a hardcore match.



The fans cheer for a hardcore match.

A lot has happened in these past days. But this Friday. Edge. This Friday there won't won't be anyone. Anyone in the world who can save you from the hell that will be put upon you.


Wizz Kidd raises the trash can. And puts the mic at talking level.

Edge, come Friday. You better have more than Christian to save your ass. Because if not. You can forget about the title. And as of right now. You better stop worrying about how your gonna get the title and start worrying about how you are gonna get through me.

He drops the mic and starts walking down the ramp with the garbage can raised. As he is mid-way down a voice starts talking and he stops to listen.

Cena - Now wait one minute Kid.



Cena - You know as well as I do that you have no say in what match you and Edge will have. The card is set. The matches are done. You and Edge are going to lock horns in a singles match. The same as me and Christian, the same as Orton and Punk and the same as Triple H and Gimmick.



Cena - Now Edge, it is obvious that you are going to be present in my match. But that is just fine. Because remember, this is not a tournament. We are here to show what we have got. Something tells me that management will not be impressed by you two having the amazing ability of out numbering people. I don't care if you two like each other and hate me. I am not fond of you two either.



Cena - And I know that the odds are against me when it comes to a fight. But when has that ever stopped me.

Cena points at Christian

Cena - You and me will meet on friday. Bring your chairs, bring your "bestest buddy" and bring any thing else you want. I will take on any challenge that you put in front of me and will give as much of myself as I can to over come it. Because whether you want to admit it or not, John Cena is heading for the Gold and it is going to take more than a Bromance to stop me.

The crowd are reall worked up as they wait for a responce

Edge: You know what Cena? Come Friday, Christian will finally shut you up. Will he need my help? Not at all. Will I be in his corner in case you try to pull something fast? Sure, I'll be there. And Wizz..


Edge directs his attention to his opponent for Friday

Edge: Same goes for you, I will have Cage in my corner, whether you like it or not.

JR: The return of The Cutting Edge sure is getting intense.


Tazz: Sure is, I can't wait to see what happens next.

Edge: Now, I've been trying to keep things civilized...

Edge says as he smiles to the crowd

Edge: And everyone keeps barging out on MY show in which I invited Christian. Not Cena, and sure as hell not Quizz Kidd.

Edge looks for Wizz but he's nowhere to be found.

Edge: Well, looks like he took my advice before I even said it.

JR: Where'd he go?

Tazz: I don't know but he must be a mind-reader or something.

Edge: Well, not that he's gone, Cena, maybe you should follow his lead. He leaves, you leave, then everything's all civilized here.


Cena: We....

Before Cena could get a word out the Wizz Kid came out of nowhere, trashcan in hand. He swings for Edge but he quickly moves out of the way, running straight into John Cena knocking him straight out.

JR: What a shot!

Wizz turns around to hit Edge but is caught with a devastating spear. Both Edge and Christian grab chairs laying a third one under the head of Wizz Kidd.

JR: I don't like what's going on here

Tazz: I DO!

As each one of them raises the chair above their head, getting ready to introduce Wizz Kidd to his first con-chair-to, out of nowhere John Cena tackles Christian to the ground in the process knocking Edge over.

JR: BY GAWD! What a tackle!

Cena proceeds to pick Edge up into the F-U.

JR: Here we go! About time for an F-U!

Cena throws Edge off his shoulders onto Christian on the outside of the ring. As Edge and Christian lay on the ground, Cena is celebrating in ring. Whenever Cena turns around, Wizz Kidd is there, with a foot-to-face contact. Sending Cena to the outside with Edge and Christian.

JR: WIZZ KICK! WIZZ KICK! BY GAWD!!!

Wizz Kidd falls on his knees pointing to the image of the FCW Championship on the titantron as the screen fades to black.
