In the background you can hear Raven talking to Luminous but you can't see, you can only imagine
Raven: You think this is fun and games Luminous, well I have a fun game we can play in the ring.
Luminous begins to follow Raven out of the boiler room, but Raven tells him to stay.
The Camera shows Raven slowly walking in his Leather Vest down to the entry way
He then walks through the certain and makes his way down the ramp to the ring
Before Raven enters the ring he walks to the announce table and grabs a mic
He then slides in the ring
Raven: If you can hear me, Luminous, I would like to say some things before we play our fun game. You see as Me, Raven, You have a responsibility, where you have to keep ECW going, so that is what I will do here tonight. But first. I will talk about Me and Cody.
Raven sits in the corner of the ring and begins to talk
Raven: Cody, You got off early on that match, To be honest that match didn't mean a damn thing to me.
Raven smiles
Raven: But NOW Cody, I know how you are to wrestle I know how you looked when you won. YOU looked SUPRISED to beat the BEST THING THAT EVER HAPPENED TO ECW. Let me give you a little speech Cody.
Raven: The pain the suffering, of a childhood lost. An empty swing an empty promise, a broken dream, a broken home, it's strange how laughter looks like crime. With no sound and rain drops taste like tears without the pain. Cody Rhodes, you will relive the turmoil and hell,
Raven: Cody, you are a piece of junk, just like my father. My father used to come home from work and he used to beat the crap out of me, he used to smack me, and whip me, and kick me, well you gotta be tough to beat up a seven year old defenseless kid, you son of a bitch. Just an abusive drunk. He failed at everything in his life. He lost my mom. He lost me. \
Raven points to the titantron
Raven: Come on Luminous lets play a little game

This wasn't going to end well. He knew the kind of 'fun' that Raven liked.
Just sit there and wait. Wait for the signal. He'll call for you when he's ready. Don't say anything. Don't move. Don't even tremble, or else he'll know. And if he knows, then he'll get mad. And if gets mad...
The boiler room was hardly accomodating, being so cramped, dark and naturally dirty. As the door had closed behind Raven, the darkness of shadow clouded Robin, too blindly obedient to even reach over and turn on the lightswitch, in case such a miniscule move wasn't a part of his mentor's great scheme. Instead, all he had to do was crouch down in the shadows, ignore the sweat trickling down his face as the temperature within the enclosed space ever so slowly creeped up, and listen intently. If he didn't hear his name and missed his cue...
There it was.
As if his life depended on it, Robin tore open the door, sprinting down the corridor and startling the life of any ring crew members that happened to witness such a peculiar event. Within range of the curtains now. Do you run towards him? No, you'll look over-eager and he won't like that, but he won't like you being late. What do you do, Robin? No, your name is 'Luminous'. You're not a robin yet, Jason. Remember that.
He reaches the curtain, and comes to a dead halt. Heart pounding inside his chest, he gingerly manages to weave his way through the curtains and amble down to the ring. The crowd didn't seem to know what to make of it. Whether that was due to their equal distaste for both Cody Rhodes and Raven he didn't know, but his own reaction seemed to be souring by association. He keeps his eyes firmly on the ground, he can't bare to look at any of the fans, or even at Raven. If he sees him mad, he'll break.
A few stragglers begin to chant 'Robin' in the bleachers. Fortunately for him, the chant doesn't spread very far, although audible nonetheless. That wasn't his name, so long as Raven said so. Quote the Raven Nevermore.
It's immediately apparent to everyone in the building this isn't the same cheery Robin they're used to seeing. The hair is still colourful and stylishly laid out, the clothes are still strictly bohemian with a colour scheme that only a select few would deem appropriate no matter how complimentory a white mesh t-shirt and a bizarre shade of pastel-colour cargo pants looked on his physique. But there's one thing missing from him that 'made' him Luminous Robin, the daredevil without a care in the world, someone for the crowd to get behind, just because he was so fun to watch and to be around.
His smile.
Without it, there he stands, a pitiful creature, eyes on the mat and his feet dragging along it as he slowly climbs up to his feet, trying to gather what little self-esteem he can to look at Raven...but he can't. There's no wild cheers or cries of support for him. Instead, there's an almost peculiar quietness to the arena, as if they were watching an animal getting euthanised, and the air fills with such a distinct aura of sympathy that it almost appears to be suffocating him. Already, so thoroughly broken. All he can do is mutter under his breath.
"Wh-what game are we going to be playing, sir...?"

Raven smiles and laughs
Raven: Oh it's gonna be a real fun game, a game Tommy Dreamer played. It involves a stick, a kendo stick, and it also involoves pain, from now on Luminous, I dont want to see you in these nice clothes. I want to see you with an ECW shirt on everyday of your life. I want to see you with a kendo stick in your hand. An evil look on your face.
Raven stands up from the corner of the ring, and looks over at Luminous, seeing the scared look on his face looking through his mind seeing that Luminous could be ECW.[/color]
Raven takes one last look at Luminous, he then slides out of the ring and looks to be searching under the ring for some sort of weapon
Raven finally finds what he is looking for a kendo stick
Luminous backs up
Raven slides in the ring and grabs Luminous's pretty little shirt
Raven:Get up against the ropes.

So, that was Raven's great scheme all along. The best answer that he could offer him. The reason that he'd been clinging on to this business for so long, was because he lived, slept and breathed 'ECW'. Every move he made was for 'ECW'. The legacy of a deceased federation was his own, and yet he expected Robin to be an avatar for that same husk, those same values, at the expense of his own individuality.
Well, then. It was worth putting it to the test, if the answer really was worth fifteen years of bloodshed. All he had to do was endure this little 'game' of Raven's. How deadly could a game be, after all, right? Kendo stick or no kendo stick.
Wait. The tapes.
A man. A cigarette. A singapore cane. The fans in tears. Those tapes of archive footage - grainy memories, the only link that Robin had other than an association with Raven, to 'Extreme Championship Wrestling'. That was the game, was it? He wanted Robin to prove that he was hardcore? Or was it just a way of venting his own frustration?
An involuntary shiver creeps across Robin's body. At first it seems like his legs were going to give way from the shock of it all. It's only once Raven takes him by the shirt that he gains the strength to support himself - if only because his body suddenly freezes up.
The fans jeer, defiantly. Wanting him to summon up the strength, the courage, to lay just one shot across his face. But he can't manage it. Instead, a different kind of thought runs through his head.
What if this is his chance to prove himself?
What if this will earn him his wings?
A sudden courage bursts into Robin's veins. He backs up, pulling himself loose of Raven's grip and simply glaring at him. There's no humour, no glint, nor even a hint of resentment lying within the dilated pupils. Just an emptiness. Pure determination and nothing more. Stonefaced.
He reaches down, grasping his shirt and effortlessly throwing it up and over his head, and makes good use of the unequipped garment, twisting it tight and using it as a makeshift rag. He places it between his teeth, biting down tight onto it as he wanders over to the ropes, grasping the top tightly and assuming the position.
Robin's eyes wander, drifting around aimlessly before finding themselves returning to a neutral position, staring dead ahead at the member of the crowd in front of him--oh no.
It's a little girl.
She couldn't be more than eight years old. Light brunette, ponytail, stonewashed jeans, pink sneakers, and what he can just make out from the lights to be a John Cena t-shirt. Cute kid, looks like she'll grow up to be a beautiful woman someday. She's come to see her favourite wrestlers on the show tonight - and she's chanting Robin's name. Supporting him. Rearing him on.
And next to her, is her mother, bracing herself to cover her daughter's eyes, a look of impending horror etched onto her face.
Suddenly, his 'courage' dissipates in an instance, that adorable, childish glee of hers the alkaline to his acidic bravado.
She cheers again - 'Come on, Robin', he hears - innocence ringing with every note.
He tries to hide it, but once again Robin begins to shake, clenching his eyes tight - awaiting the moment to come where his own innocence is shattered.
Don't cry. Be strong.
For her sake.

Raven Takes Luminous's shirt off, and takes 5 hard swings a Luminous's back leaving a small amount of blood pouring down his back
How does it fell? How does it feel, MY DAD USED TO BEAT ME WITH A KENDO STICK. And atleast that blocked the horrid memories of my sick and twisted family, looking at their family member, ME, With a broken sick look on their faces. Pain, is great, But pain is evil and disgusting at the same time.

The first shot collides. He stands strong.
The second shot hits. His leg buckles. Not yet. Not going to fall. His eyes clench tight, unable to bring himself to stare at the people. He couldn't bare to know that the people watching were more horrified than he was.
The third. An audible gasp of pain slips out, and the rag drops from his mouth, teeth marks already embedded into the fabric. That one knee finally gives out on him and he drops. For the briefest of moments, his eyelids part, and he shuts them before he has a chance to process anything that he's seeing. No facial expressions, good. Although he did find himself wondering what his back looked like right now. It certainly felt moist, at least. Stung too, but that went without saying.
Once he realises the fourth is coming, he launches forward, sinking his teeth into the top rope. It collides, and he bites down hard, but still he keeps on his feet. An overwhelming sensation, the vibration ringing down his spine, up his neck, through his legs. Pleasure. Pain. A spectrum of sensation.
Bliss.
Five.
His teeth part from the rope, and Robin lets loose a cry of agony. He tries to steady himself, but it's all for naught. Two wobbly steps, and he drops down to one knee in the middle of the ring at Raven's feet, steadying himself with a hand on the canvas. Each breath is heavy, and with it, he exhales part of the pain, as if the agony was radiating into the air, the throbbing deafening him to Raven's words.
Seconds pass, and slowly Robin is able to pull himself on his feet. He steadies himself once again. Not even so much as a stagger. He's perfectly fine. Slowly, he turns to Raven, eyes meeting as he lifts his shirt off the mat and reapplies it to himself. The pain amplifies as the cotton and the blood form an uncomfortable merge, leaving a sanguinary rorschach pattern painted across his shoulderblades. But it doesn't matter.
Seconds pass...and then a smile creeps onto his face. Words vibrate through the air, barely more than a whisper.
"Am I...a robin yet?"

Raven drops the kendo stick. And sits for a momentRaven is thinking thinking of a good idea as everyone can see, but he doesn't know that this Idea he is about to express, could be history in the makingRaven walks around the ring, then finds a spot in the corner to sitRaven: You know Luminous, I wanna tell you something, I wanna tell you something. Listen to me. Throughout the trials and tribulations and the heartbreak and the misery that is my life, there is only one man who's advice I've ever headed. And he told me there are two rules. One there are no rules and two is someone must feel the DDT. And DDT, as In Raven Effect. If you can beat me in a Hardcore match. You will then become a Robin. Quote the Raven NevermoreRaven sits back in the corner, thinking just thinking weather his idea was good, or not. He sits with an angry face A face where you can just look in the mans eyes and see the pain, or his pain of wanting to inflict pain on another human being.
