OOC: After analyzing this roleplay I've realized that it is very weak compared to what I was planning to do but I'm in a hurry and I just wanted to post this quick to get my initial debut out of the way. Hopefully it's slightly enjoyable.
Legend.....What defines a man who uses such a term of identity? Is it based upon the amount of people who recognize their name? The amount of accolades they have achieved? Maybe it's based on their self opinion, but can a man legitimately call himself legend without first proving to his peers? In this day and age the term "legend" is used loosely. Wrestlers with a head of arrogance my claim themselves legend by winning a mere championship. Even without egos, the wrestling business has become inflated. With thousands of wrestlers, and hundreds of companies world wide, many names go unheard. A legend in one company should fear being a complete unknown in another. Maybe the problem is the wrestlers themselves. Too many of the same persona, parading around. Each individual completely ignorant that they have nothing less of a clone in several other organizations. So what is a legend in this day and age? A person known world wide, with millions of fans who have purchased countless items of merchandise? A person who has held countless numbers of championships during his career? Or is it someone who debuts in a new company and makes an entire arena take notice with one mere promo? You decide.....
The crowd in the Melon Arena have been buzzing ever since they have packed into their seats. Not only was tonight the first FCW Pay Per View since the companies return, but there has been alot of commotion concerning a man by the name of Psycho Luke and whether he has signed an FCW contract. Who is Psycho Luke? Some consider him a legend, others consider him a ripoff of some of the many other "psychos" they had seen previously before him. Some even know him more for his own company rather than his in ring competition. What matters most (to him at least) is that the fans know him. Many fans world wide remember the infamous "Well Hey" catchphrase that garnered him a reaction comparable to the likes of The Rock or Steve Austin. Others remember him for his efforts and courage to do whatever it takes to make sure the fans left the arena happy. Either way, many considered his career shortlived and would love to see another return. And well.....just maybe their wish will be granted...
The small commotion from the crowd's consistant chatter is soon overshadowed by a blackout in the arena. The crowd cheers, expecting the show to start soon. However what they did not expect was the sound of a soft violin note followed by an onslaught of heavy riffage, partnered with a blazing strobe light. "Endzeit" by Heaven Shall Burn continues to play over the standing room only arena. Soon after the riff changes and the strobe changes to a constant blue glow, a rather hyperactive seeming man runs out onto the stage, jumping in a 360 and planting his feet firmly causing an uproar from the voices of the crowd. Paint covers the individuals face and his dreadfilled mohawk hangs down along his head. He peers around the arena, several in the crowd holding up devil horns....assumably to show their support, and then starts taking quick steps down the ramp before eventually sliding into the ring. He runs across the ring, jumping onto a far turnbuckle to salute the crowd with devil horns of his own, getting yet another big reaction from the chunk of audience he peers into. He reaches over the ropes asking for a microphone which he is swiftly handed, before jumping down and awaiting the lights to return to their normal state. After which, the music also fades out and the arena becomes silent. Some cheers are heard here and there but most remain quiet for they know what is to come. The man slowly raises the microphone to his mouth and begins to speak.
"To all.....of the Mini Psychomites out there......I've just gotta say.......Well hey!"
Those final words are echoed through the arena, not only from his lips...but as well as the fans, some cheering continues but most await what he is about to say.
Luke: "All I've been hearing about is that the FCW is the place to be. Well here I stand, because I had to find out for myself. Now I'm sure most in the back are wondering just who the hell I am, but that's fine. I'm not here to demand respect, or to demand I get a World Championship Title match in my debut. You come to a new company, you start with a clean slate, I understand that. But for those who are unknowing of my presence, allow me to deliver a brief history. My name is Psycho Luke. In the last 5 years I have endured a successful career. I have accomplished what most people never get the chance to. I have held many championships along the way. Multiple time World Champion, multiple time Intercontinental, International, and United-Continental Champion. Multiple time Tag Team Champion, one of which I won all on my own. I've been placed into 2 prestigious Hall Of Fames, not to mention I've had the honor of running a company for a successful 2 years. This isn't me trying to brag or boast, it's simply fact. Now I know no one in the back even cares about this information, people are still going to acknowledge me as the new guy of the company and that's fine. But maybe this piece of information will show what a high amount of determination can do in such a short amount of time. For the last several months I've sat at home, contemplating my career and it hit me. Being at a young age of 24 and already being retired doesn't sound right to me, and it shouldn't sound right to any of you. Which is my reason for standing in front of you right now. It's time I got back into a wrestling ring, afterall it's become my home away from home. Consider this the rebirth of an era, the rebirth of yours truely. Because well for one I was bored as hell, and Two I figure I can put my talents to use and build a company up to such a standard that it will be unrivaled to it's competition. FCW may very well be that company, only time will tell. All I know is that I've missed beating people at what I do best.....and that's wrestle.
He lowers the microphone momentarily as the crowd lets out a cheer. He starts bringing it back up when suddenly......
