The Truth
*Jericho drives down a California desert highway in a black BMW-M Convertible. The winding road reflected in his eyes, Jericho pushes down on the pedal. The car continues to gain speed, Jericho sweating in the driver seat. Jericho continues to floor it, and as he looks up, he sees a curve. The radio blares.*
Singer: So fucking blow those words out the back of your head! I heard it all and I'm tired of that shit!
*Jericho reaches for the brake, and as he glances downward, he sees a set of headlights in his side mirror. The car speeds up, and in the twilight he sees who is in the other car. Randy Orton speeds up the green jaguar and bumps Jericho's car from behind. Jericho's Beamer slips into a spinout, causing the tires to lose traction. The vehicle hurtles toward the curve at high speed. Orton comes to a stop, and exits his vehicle. He looks toward the cliff and sees Jericho's car now rolling and in flames. The vehicle takes one last nasty bump and careens over the edge, Orton smirking handily as it does. Orton re-enters his Jaguar, and drives off. The BMW falls rapidly to the ground, a scream from within getting louder and louder. The car finally reaches the end of its fall and hits solid rock bottom with a sickening crunch.*

*Chris Jericho sits straight up out of bed, breathing at an incredible rate. Sweat pours down his face as he tries to gain composure. He gets up, and heads for his bathroom. He gets a paper cup courtesy of the hotel, and fills it with water from the bathroom sink. He leans his head back, and takes a huge gulp, downing the entire cup with his eyes closed. He opens them to see someone behind him in his bathroom mirror.
Jericho: Ughh!
*Jericho chokes on the water going down his throat. He coughs several times, and then rises, eyes watering. He turns around, viewing the rest of the real bathroom, but Randy Orton was nowhere to be seen. Jericho closes his eyes again. His weariness gets the best of him again, and he collapses on his bed. He stares out the window, the overcast clouds giving way to a starry night. Jericho's gaze continues everstrong.*
What if...what if I can't beat him? What if he is too good for me. What if he really does deserve that title more than I do? I'm just not so sure anymore. He might have not won the match on Anarchy, but he certainly sent the message... Is this... fear? Am I afraid of him?
*Jericho continues to ponder, eventually tiring himself out. He falls alseep in the hotel room, cold and alone. His only covers lay beneath him, and he is in too terrifying a dream to wake. The morning light finally does its job.*

*Jericho arrives at the arena, and heads for his designated lockeroom. He drops off his bag, and then exits the room, as quickly as he had come. He heads down the hall, through catering. He looks at all the food backstage, and walks right past it. He enters a small room with fabric on the walls. The Interview Room. He sits down on a stool, and instructs the staff to prepare to film an interview. Once prepared, Jericho begins to speak.*
Jericho: Randy Orton, I think its time you and I came to see eye to eye on our issue. I think it certainly is time that we offer each other the truth. I am willing to set it all out for you here. I'll be the first to admit it here, flat out, Randy. You are intimidating. You are talented, and you are a force to be reckoned with. You certainly are capable of winning a title match, and you certainly are capable of being a Champion in FCW. And I mean that. Part of the reason I want to beat you is that you are the greatest challenge for me on the roster. But that is not to say that you are a greater challenge than I am.
*Jericho smirks, the devilish twinkle no longer present in Jericho's eyes.*
Jericho: I will be damned to hell willingly before I will lay down and let you have your way, Randy. I apologize for my frazzled appearance, Randy, but I wouldn't want to rob you of your handiwork. You're in my rooms. You're on the TV in front of me. You're in my dreams. Everywhere I look, you seem to be there. It makes me feel susceptible to your games, Randy. But as long as I can stand, I can resist you. You took this too far, past personal. As long as you continue to act as if the rough life you have is a walk in the park, you will continue to hurt only yourself. This has gone far too far, and I'm sick of it.
*Jericho halfways a smile, but can't really manage one.*
Jericho: You took it too far when you put your hands on innocent people. You took it too far when you insulted me, and you took it too far when you put your filthy claws on my father. For that, you shall recieve no mercy. I have never been so close to homicidal, Randy. You took this too far when you took me too far. I am not proud of myself, how I look now, or how I will look after Anarchy, but I believe strongly that I can beat you, Randy. So I will start this friday. Tomorrow I will beat you, and the two misfits you have the misfortune of taggin with. Edge, Christian and I will wipe the floor with you, and that will only be the beginning of it for you.
*Jericho reaches down, pulling up the old FCW-WWE Title again. He holds it in his lap, staring at it for several minutes. He then turns back to the camera.*
Jericho: At FCW's Second Coming, we will lock horns again. One on one, the real rematch from last week's Anarchy. But this next time, don't think another steel chair will be sufficient. You might want to enlist some more help than Kendrick and Shelley, because you'll need more than three assclowns to stop me.
*Jericho puts the belt down again.*
Jericho: It's time we talked truth Randy Orton. The truth is, that both of us are excellent wrestlers. The truth is that we both are opinionated people, but it is also true that I will beat you on Anarchy, and at Second Coming. It is true that I really am head and shoulders above you, and it is true that you are an intimidating individual, but in FCW, its all about the show. And as they say, the show must go on, so instead of wallowing anymore, instead of wasting everyone's valuable time, I am going to simply say "Good Luck" and after that we can only hope.
*Jericho stands up, grabbing the belt and exiting the room. He enters his lockeroom and slams the door shut.*
