The fans in attendance are on their feet, prepared for FCW action. What they get is the greatest professional wrestler alive today, as "Voices" by Rev Theory hits the PA. The boos erupt almost simultaneously. Orton walks out onto the stage, dressed in jeans, and a black "Age of Orton" t-shirt. He throws his arms out in an arrogant pose as golden pyro streams down behind him. He makes his way down the aisle and as he enters the ring the music stops. The boos persist, but Orton pays them little mind as he raises his mic to speak.
"Since I arrived in FCW I have pushed the limits of brutality. I have demonstrated why I am the chosen one. Why I am the best of the best. The reason I've been able to do that is because I defy the conventional. I defy what is acceptable. I do whatever I have to do. I show no mercy. That's why I will rule FCW. That's why I will stand at the top for a long long time."
"But as I look around this roster, I don't see anyone else who does that. I don't see anyone else who is prepared to defy the morals of society. I don't see anyone prepared to do whatever it takes to attain greatness. Thats why I have went elsewhere. That's why I have contacted men from outside this company to join me. To stand by my side as I transform this company from a beacon of mediocrity, into the arena of the new age."
"I have brought two men to FCW, who share my desire for greatness. Two men who are prepared to defy anyone or anything that stands in their path to glory. I have brought these men here to help me rid this company of the mundane. To help me usher in the "Age of Orton." These men are destined for great things, because their heads are in the right place."
"So without further ado, it is time the world met Defiance. This is not a stable, but a dynasty. A dynasty built on absolutley outdoing anyone who dares step into the ring to oppose us. Shining brighter than anyone else on this roster. At this time, FCW welcome to the "Age of Defiance."

Indeed it was true that the Age of Orton was in progress but he had to search...he had to find and army to continue the pursuit of his legacy. Did he find an army of greatness like he proclaims? Did he find individuals that will assist him in ascending to the peak of the mountain? That's for you to decide....
Of course it was announced. The Age of Defiance. What does Orton mean by this? No one was really sure...maybe not even Orton himself was sure. But one thing was for sure. He had his eyes locked on the stage with a tell all smirk. The answer to the reason why just got started as "Morphogenesis" by Scar Symmetry began to play over the arena. The crowd turns their attention to the stage, all uncertain of the music or who it's for. Soon, however, none other than Alex Shelley. One half of the Motor City Machineguns, a former TNA X-Division champion comes stepping through the curtain carrying what now would be his retro tripod and camera. A smirk crosses his face as he looks around at the now cheering crowd, excited and joyful to see such a character make an appearance for FCW. Blowing a big kiss to the audience, he slowly makes his way down the entrance ramp, camera in front of his eye as if filming the start of a journey. An FCW journey perhaps? He stops alongside the ring and places his tripod down, facing it towards the ring. Soon after he slides in and is greeted with a firm handshake from Randy Orton, who soon hands him a microphone. The music fades out as the arena fills with Alex Shelley chants. He lifts a finger to his mouth, silencing the crowd before raising up the microphone.
Alex Shelley: That's right. Everyone be quiet when I'm talking. I know you're all glad to finally see some talent around this place, but be respectful and let me talk in peace.
The crowd begins booing his rude comments as he just shrugs, hardly caring what the crowd thought of him.
Alex Shelley: Say what you want, think what you want. You all know I'm the future of this business, which is why I can and will demand respect. Now that I have your undivided attention let me take a moment to introduce myself. I am Alex Shelley, Talent on loan from God. And I say it because it's true. It's not just some catchphrase to make you people laugh. It's not something to be marketed to sell those extra few pieces of merchandise. It's the truth. Ever since I started training to become a professional wrestler I knew I would go all the way. Even before that, when I first had the thought, the intention of wanting to be a professional wrestler, I knew I would become the best. Because I strive for nothing less. When you take a look in the locker room what do you see? A bunch of guys in their 30s, 40s....but then look at me. 25 years of age and I have so much talent that it flows off of me like an aura. Everyone in my presence gets better. Orton here is the exact same way. That's why we're a perfect match. A perfect team. A perfect dynasty. Now that I am here in the FCW. You no longer have to look elsewhere for great matches. You no longer have to settle for mediocrity. Because you only get the best when you call 1-800-Shelley. But wait....there's more!
Shelley turns and points to the stage a smirk crossing his face as well as continuing from the face of Orton. If Randy Orton and Alex Shelley weren't enough.....who else is there?

Alex Shelley directs the crowd’s attention toward the titantron, as they wait in anticipation to see who's the other member. All of a sudden, “Man with a Plan” by Chris Goulstone blares through the PA system, which brings a smirk to both Shelley's and Orton’s face. The first member of the so-called “Age of Defiance” emerges from behind the curtains, and it’s The Brian Kendrick! He is met with a moderately negative reaction from the fans, but he has yet to make a name for himself. Kendrick flamboyantly struts his way down the ramp, driving the fans insane with his obnoxious dancing. He gets in their faces along the way, shouting a few tasteless insults. Brian leaps onto the ring apron and looks back at the crowd before taunting some more. Once inside the ring, his music slowly fades as he is greeted by Randy Orton and Alex Shelley. He adjusts his trademark jacket, and gives a smug look to the fans as he lifts a microphone to his lips.
The Brian Kendrick: “Orton, Shelley, thank you for the warm welcome. Now, to those of you who don’t know who I am, you better start taking notice. My name is THE Brian Kendrick and I am without a doubt FCW’s gem acquisition! To those of you who DO know me, you might have witnessed my display of excellence in previous companies, but you have yet to experience a full dose of The Kendrick. In other words, you ain’t seen nothing yet! Anyway, to echo what Randy said earlier, it’s hard to disagree that this federation has been lacking talent. (He paces around a bit.) How exactly do you define talent, you might ask? Well, to put it simply for you low IQ’d ‘fans’, he’s standing right before you. You see, despite my relatively small stature, TBK is still the most gifted individual on the roster. I might not be the biggest or strongest, but there’s no denying that I possess what matters the most: intelligence! And at the end of the day, brains ALWAYS beats brawn. Moving on, I would like to say that Mr. Randy Orton made an excellent choice, appointing myself and Shelley to this dynasty… because honestly, who else has got what it takes to attain complete supremacy in FCW? Yeah that’s right, nobody! We’re the perfectly scouted combination, and it’s only a matter a time before we start climbing the ladder of success. You people might not like it, you can despise us for all I care, but the fact of the matter is you can’t fight destiny! We have greatness written all over us, so you’re all going to have to ACCEPT it! Because alone, you have one of the greatest wrestlers in history. Add two more outstanding wrestlers of equal importance to that equation… and do the math. Our potential is incalculable.”
Kendrick flashes a large grin as he lowers the microphone, glancing back at Orton and Alex to see if they have anything to add.

As the three men stand in the ring, Orton looking into the crowd with a look of pure arrogance, raises the mic again,
"There it is. This is Defiance. This is the present and future of FCW. Get used to seeing it, because we are going to rule this company. We are going to dominate, we are going to be unstoppable. What you have standing before you in this ring right now is absolute perfection. The best part is you can hate it or love it, but there isn't a damn thing anyone can do to stop it."
As the music begins to play the men raise their arms triumphantly as they make their exit.
