JaMarcus Haze vs. Evan Bourne
JaMarcus came out in strong in his debut match. The two battled it out early on, but the crowd wasn’t too excited for this one, due to the high quality matches planned for later on.
In the end it was Haze pulling out the victory after nailing the ‘Mutant’.
Winner:
JaMarcus Haze via pinfall at 6:16
Randy Orton vs. CM Punk
CM Punk looked absolutely pathetic, not even landing a single punch on the Defiance leader, Randy Orton. Orton had fun with this one, showing the fans and everyone in the back what he is capable of.
In the end Orton nailed the RKO, but didn’t go for the pin. He waited for Punk to rise to his knees and then drilled him with his signature Punt leaving Punk unconscious in the middle of the ring prompting Orton to make the cover.
Winner:
Randy Orton via pinfall at 3:45
John Cena vs. The Undertaker
This match never even started. As Taker was walking down the ramp he was assaulted from behind by his opponent; John Cena. Cena repeatedly smashed him across the back with a steel chair Cena looked at the smashed chair before he threw it away. Just as Cena was setting the Deadman up for the F-U security ran down the ramp, followed shortly by the Anarchy General Manager. They all began restraining Cena, but couldn’t manage to contain his anger. He threw everyone away, still going after Taker. Finally they managed to restrain Cena, and the already enraged Kennedy rose back up to his feet to shout at Cena.
Kaz vs. Blade LaVigne
Unofficial Special Guest Enforcer: Wizz Kidd
Neither of the competitors looked all too impressive in this one, but it was clear that Blade LaVigne had the advantage. Whenever this battle would end up outside the ring, Wizz Kidd would make his presence known.
In the end as Kaz was getting on a roll LaVigne rolled him up from behind for the sudden three count.
Winner:
Blade LaVigne via pinfall at 8:24
After LaVigne left the ring Kaz and Wizz Kidd began exchanging words, which eventually push came to shove and the two brawled things out in the middle of the ring, but Kaz was still worn out from his match and Wizz Kidd ended up getting the better of him.
Triple H vs. Alexander ‘The Great’ Parise w. Jimmy Gimmick
Both superstars looked good in this one, Parise made sure he showed everyone what he was capable of, seemingly not trying to hard while Triple H did things just the way he likes to.
In the end Gimmick tried to create the distraction, but from out of nowhere Triple H's long time friend Shawn Michaels quickly attacked Gimmick taking him out of the way, causing Parise to lose his focus for just a moment, giving Triple H the time to capitalize and nail the Pedigree.
Winner:
Triple H via pinfall at 13:05
Edge, Christian Cage and Chris Jericho vs. Randy Orton, Mayhem, and Shane Helms
Randy Orton and Chris Jericho were the big story of this one. Randy Orton showed no signs of slowing down, despite the fact that this was his second match of the night. Jericho as usual gave it his all, showing why he is one of the best in the business. The other four men all looked good, with Edge and Mayhem leading the pack.
None of these superstars wanted to give in, but eventually with a little help from Defiance Randy Orton was able to get the pin on Christian whilst Edge and Jericho were being held outside the ring by Mayhem, Helms, and Defiance.
Winner:
Randy Orton, Mayhem, and Shane Helms via pinfall at 14:27
