The large office room of Mr. Kennedy is surrounded by noise, none of which is actually coming from the room, though. Crew members are running around, preparing for FCW’s third pay per view; Last Resort. Slowly a cameraman creeps into the office which, as always, is inhabited by one man. That one man is the General Manager of FCW, that one man is going one on one with John Cena, tonight. The cameraman continues walking up until he is only a few paces away from the large oak desk. Slowly he sits in the chair opposite Kennedy so the camera is eye level with Mr. Kennedy.
“Good evening, ladies and Gentlemen.”
Mr. Kennedy says boastfully as he leans back, stacking some paper and putting them down on his, for once, organized desk.
“Tonight you will all witness the resurrection of Mr. Kennedy, and the termination of one John Cena.”
With that Kennedy puts his arms behind his head and smiles. The camera quickly rolls across the room, revealing a highly decorated atmosphere, one that probably took a very long time to finish.
“John tonight your crusade for power and chaos ends. Tonight when we’re standing across the ring from one another you will fail, cuz you just don’t have what it takes. You and I, we are alike, just like I said, but when it comes down to it, when it comes down to simple judgment you lose. You aren’t willing to get your hands dirty to win, and until you do you will never be able to beat me. I will prove to everyone tonight that John Cena is nothing more than a man who can sell T-shirts, not a man who can compete with the best this business has to offer. Everyone else has realized that, it’s just your loyal fans that are still cheering you on, hoping for a last minute trick up your sleeve. But it won’t come.”
Kennedy leans forward, his smile gone and a stern, hard look taking its place. The cameraman leans back in his chair, trying hard to keep his distance from the Anarchy General Manager.
“If only you would’ve joined me, you could’ve been a great right-hand man. Granted it would have taken a lot of work to train you to be smarter, but eventually we could have been great together, but instead you chose to rebel against me, to try and take over Anarchy with your beloved fans at your side. But how’s that working out for you? In the last couple weeks you’ve done nothing but lose, and tonight that losing streak continues. The once glorious John Cena will be reduced to nothing more than broken bits of a lost dream, all thanks to me.”
Kennedy smirks once again, he picks up some papers off his desk and smiles before leaning back once again.
“John I’m a business man, that’s covered ground, but I’m a smart one. I know when something’s a bad chance and when something is the right thing to do. Beating you falls under that second category. See it doesn’t matter that these people come out every night to watch, sure, it’s nice to have a fan-base, but this company is about wrestling, not granting every 10 year old’s every wish. This is supposed to be about wrestling, about going out every night and kicking the crap out of your opponent, these fans are ruining this place; they’re causing people to sell out just so they can have people screaming their names. It’s disgusting, these people are your pathetic followers who cheer blindly, ignorant to the fact that all you care about is being popular.”
Kennedy leans forward, putting the papers back down onto the desk completing the row of papers save for the middle where Kennedy slams his elbows down.
“I will not stand by and watch as this company gets destroyed. I will not let you drag one more person down into your futile rebellion. You stand no chance against me, John. Tonight I will end you; tonight these people realize that you mean nothing. Not to anyone in the back, and especially not to themselves. This company will keep on rolling without, Cena, we have before and we will again. You’re down to your Last Resort, you know that your back is against the wall, you know if you lose here you lose everything, you’re desperately trying to fight it, but you can’t. You created something that you can’t destroy. You brought this all on yourself, you are the reason that we are here, today, fighting. This is the one time where the fans are relevant, we’re fighting for them. For what exactly I’m not sure, but we’re fighting for them, none the less. Tonight, I’m gunna expose you for the lie that you really are.
With that Kennedy smiles, he pushes away from his desk and stands up, the cameraman doing so simultaneously. With that Kennedy signals with his hand for the man to leave, and he does so almost immediately, leaving the smiling Ken Kennedy alone once again.
