The Early Years
Matt Kraven started out in professional wrestling as Matt Craven. Craven began in the Extreme Hardcore Wrestling Federation, where on their first show, he won the EHWF Hardcore Title in a Fatal Four Way Match. Shortly after, he defeated PsychoPath in a Pins Count Anywhere Match to become the EHWF World Champion.
As EHWF started to sink, Matt decided to find a new federation. He found the UFoD. There, he and his brother, Chris Craven, defeated Sean Walker in a handicap match for the UFoD Tag Team Titles. Of course Sean's partner, MIK, came back soon after, and Sean and MIK won the titles back from the Cravens. Matt also spent time in UFoD, as their Creative Consultant.
Matt then left UFoD, for the PWSF, where he defeated close friend, Lightning Bolt Kid, to become the PWSF United States Champion. In the PWSF, Matt also teamed up with Lightning Bolt Kid, and another close friend, Travis Fowler, to make up the Triple Threat.
Matt also spent a small amount of time in GWA while in PWSF. There, he joined Aaron Gaspard, and Jason Hellfield to make The Army of Three.
After this, Matt took some time off from pro wrestling. A few years later, he joined the EWWA, where he immediately won their Television Title, but soon after, the federation closed.
Changing the 'C' to a 'K'
Matt then changed his name to Matt Kraven, and joined the XWA. There he won the XWA World Heavyweight Championship. His brother Chris returned, under the Kraven name, and won the XWA European Title. But then, the XWA shut down.
Matt again, decided to step away from wrestling, as most federations seemed to be having trouble staying open.
Matt returned to wrestling in the EFW, where him and his close friend Jeremy Youngblood, made up Aggravated Assault (then moved to Canada and made up Canadian Assault), and won the EFW Tag Team Titles. Kraven and Youngblood were without a doubt the best tag team to ever step foot inside the EFW.
Owning Feds
After EFW closed down because the owner joined the Army, Matt took a small amount of time away from wrestling, but came back...this time owning his own company, the Incredible Championship Wrestling Alliance. This promotion lasted a little while, but eventually shut down, like all the rest.
FFP and FCW
Matt again, took time off. Then he came back as the owner yet again, this time using the name Full Force Pro. FFP lasted about four months, but shut down. A few months later however, FFP came back, and actually is still cooking. Matt actually even got to spend a small amount of time as the FFP World Champion, by defeating Psychotica inside a steel cage.
As Kraven ran Full Force Pro, he decided that he wanted to also step into the ring full time, and found his way to Full Contact Wrestling. After joining FCW, Matt ended up defeating Psychotica (in FFP), and becoming FFP World Champion. Although he has held three World Titles, he feels that the FFP World Title is the only important World Title he has ever held. He plans on making the FCW World Title, another important World Title on his shelf.
On July 30th, 2009, Matt Kraven decided to close Full Force Pro, and put all of his energy and effort into FCW. Now, Matt has his sights set on climbing the ladder to the very top of FCW, and very few, if any, will be able to stop him.
