This is a time line of key events that helped shape FCW's history leading up to today.
April 21st 2008- Shane McMahon announces the beginning of a new era in professional wrestling entertainment: Full Contact Wrestling. Proclaiming "[t]he rule of Vince McMahon is over and now let the Shane O Mac era begin."
April 22nd, 2008- The general managers of the 3 alternative wrestling programs address the fans and superstars in the back for the first time. They are AJ Styles(ECW), Mr. Kennedy(TNA), and Randy Orton(SD). Also the FCW draft began.
April 25th, 2008- The FCW draft concludes setting the stage for FCW to reach it's historic beginnings.
May 13th, 2008- Ric Flair takes over as General Manager of Smackdown! after the unexplained disappearance of Randy Orton.
May 17th, 2008- Saturday Night's Main Event marks FCW's first inter promotional event.
June 8th, 2008- ECW Presents One Night Stand sparking the feud between Triple H and Chris Jericho as they have their first battle in an extreme rules match which The Game remains standing and walks out with his championship.
June 18th, 2008- The controversial Randy Orton returns to manage Smackdown being forced to share the position with then manager Ric Flair sparking conflict.
June 23rd, 2008- The Orton situation rapidly escalates with the introduction of Rated RKO, who begin wreaking uncontrolled havoc across FCW.
July 6th, 2008- The legendary Shane McMahon/Ric Flair feud begins with "The Nature Boy" earning a victory over Shane at the Great American Bash.
July 13th, 2008- Rated RKO faces their final repose at Vengeance with the rivals Triple H and Jericho teaming together to vanquish them once and for all. Orton once again disappears this time as a result of firing, not to be heard from again.
August 10th, 2008- FCW Raw presents Summerslam providing one of the biggest night's of the year. Featuring a two out of three falls encounter between Triple H and Chris Jericho which Jericho wins, as well as Ric Flair defeating Shane McMahon resulting in his firing.
September 16th, 2008- ECW goes off air for the final time concluding with the final encounter between Triple H and Chris Jericho, which for one final time Jericho emerges victorious.
September 21st, 2008- At TNA's Hard Justice pay per view Ryan Michaels brutally attacks his rival Jeff Jarrett following their one on one encounter. Leading to his arrest and the series of memorable psychological evaluation encounters with doctor Frank Sweeney, where he remains institutionalized for life.
October 19th, 2008- Cyber Sunday occurs where the current RAW General Manager Marty Jannetty teams with Kane in a failing effort against the team of Mr. Kennedy and D'Lo Brown in a match contested to restore Shane McMahon his job. With Ric Flair watching on miserably at ring side Shane McMahon's team prevails and he publicly fires Jannetty and reclaims his position.
November 9th, 2008- FCW's final pay per view Night of Champions takes place, the changing of the guard occurs with Finlay over throwing the dominant D'Lo Brown to become the World Heavyweight Champion.
November 29th, 2008- The 31st edition of Smackdown presented by current General Manager D'Lo Brown marking the final official Full Contact Wrestling broadcast.
December 2nd, 2008- Shane McMahon officially acknowledges the end of Full Contact Wrestling.
April 13th, 2009- Under R.M. Voglur Full Contact Wrestling finds life once again rising from the ashes to redemption.
April 24th, 2009-FCW's first broadcast of its new flagship program Anarchy premieres.
May 24th, 2009-The life story of mysterious owner R.M. Voglur is published on fcw.com, revealing that he has been diagnosed with terminal cancer.
May 31st, 2009-FCW returns to ppv with the appropriately titled Second Coming, where Randy Orton became the World Heavyweight Champion pinning Jimmy Gimmick to lead FCW into the new era.
June 1st, 2009-The brand split of FCW Redemption becomes official, superstars are divided into two shows: Anarchy and Requiem.
June 13th-Luminous Robin and Raven meet for the first time, from here Raven takes Robin under his wing which would lead to one of FCW's most memorable feuds.
June 23rd, 2009-The match that will determine the FCW Championship is announced as Original Sin leader Jimmy Gimmick would face his disciple Alexander Parise. An announcement that would destroy FCW's most dominant faction thus far.
June 28th, 2009-Mr. Kennedy intervenes in his brands World Championship match assaulting John Cena to hand Edge his first reign as World Champion in the new FCW. Also at Scars and Stripes Alexander Parise is crowned the first FCW Champion.
July 10th, 2009-It is revealed that R.M. Voglur is suffering from a heart related illness that he discloses will kill him, to his son Jimmy Gimmick.
July 28th, 2009- At Last Resort history is made, Parise becomes the unified FCW World Heavyweight Champion, Luminous Robin and Raven close the book on their feud in a brutal No Rope Barbed Wire Match, and Mr. Kennedy defeats one of his kep superstars John Cena in a one on one match.
July 30th, 2009-Jimmy Gimmick assaults Randy Orton and draws blood from the Legend Killer, prompting the beginning of a feud leading to a much anticipated Summer Salvation showdown.
August 8th, 2009-R.M. Voglur is found dead outside of his hospital room, it is revealed that investigations into the event arrive at suicide. In actuality Gimmick threw his father from the room to the streets below.
I hope this worked to bring everyone up to speed on the key events throughout FCW's history and I hope to get the opportunity to expand on it as we continue. Furthermore, don't be offended if you find yourself left out, I will continue to expand FCW's history section to include such things as memorable feuds, historic matches and promos, as well as a potential Hall of Fame.
