Friday Night Anarchy
Firestarter vs. Evan Bourne
These two men had a bit of a score to settle after engaging in a war of words leading up to this. They looked about even in the early going, but Firestarter began to pull out in front.
The two both battled back, but in the end Pyronus managed to pull out the quick win from out of nowhere.
Winner:
Firestarter via pinfall at 7:22
MVP vs. Shawn Michaels
Neither man really came out with a whole lot of emotion, and the crowd booed and cheered accordingly. The offense switched from side to side throughout the duration of this one, even though it wasn’t that long.
In the end the two battled it out, but Shawn Michaels managed to pull out the Sweet Chin Music to get the much needed win over MVP.
Winner:
Shawn Michaels via pinfall at 6:12
John Cena vs. Chris Jericho
Chris Jericho continued to be MIA whilst John Cena came out to say that he wouldn’t be competing until the man who attacked him at Second Coming confessed to the crime.
Winner: N/A
Luminous Robin vs. Cody Rhodes
Luminous Robin came hard out of the gate and didn’t let up. He dominated the young Cody Rhodes, putting it all one the line pulling out high risk maneuver after high risk maneuver.
Rhodes did manage to muster some good offense, showing why he deserves his roster spot, but Robin clearly wanted this one more in the end as he picked up the win once again.
Winner:
Luminous Robin via pinfall at 10:08
FCW World Tag Team Championship
Edge and Christian Cage (c) vs. THE Brian Kendrick and Psycho Luke
Both teams came out hard, but clearly Kendrick and Luke were more prepared for this match, having their heads in the game, and prepared for just about anything. The unfamiliar team dominated throughout this one as Christian and Edge fought to keep their titles.
Edge and Christian weren’t familiar with the unorthodox Psycho Luke, and that really gave him and Kendrick the advantage. After a hard fought battle from Edge, Christian ended up being the fault in their armor as he made a slight mistake which opened up the chance for Kendrick to get the pin on him whilst Edge was distracted by Luke.
Winners and new FCW World Tag Team Champions:
Psycho Luke and THE Brian Kendrick via pinfall at 9:49
After the match Edge looks to Christian, disgusted about the loss he picked up and angry at him.
Loser Leaves FCW
Matt Hardy vs. The Undertaker
This match had a lot of emotion surrounding it as the two veterans had their careers on the line. It looked like the pressure got to both men a little, but Matt Hardy managed to pull himself together, whilst Taker couldn’t quite do the same.
Hardy got the advantage and then held onto it as he managed to hold onto it, despite hard efforts from Taker. Hardy eventually managed to hit the Twist of Fate to end the Undertaker’s FCW career.
Winner:
Matt Hardy via pinfall at 8:52
Original Sin vs. Randy Orton and Blade LaVigne
All four of these men came out hard, showing why this was the main event. Blade wanted to show why he could compete in the main event, but he was dominated by Original Sin in the early going, and they kept LaVigne in the ring throughout most of this one as both Parise and Gimmick dominated him as Orton looked on, frustrated.
Gimmick clearly wanted revenge after losing to Orton at Second Coming in 11 seconds, and he did it in the form of taunting him throughout this one and showing why he was in the World Title Match. LaVigne eventually managed to make the tag in to Orton who was almost completely fresh and he began to dominate but eventually the numbers advantage for Original Sin began to kick in because LaVigne was still tired. LaVigne did begin to recover and evened the playing field, but Parise showed why he earned the victory over him on Sunday as he took him outside the ring and laid the beating down. Inside the ring Orton looked for the win, but Parise managed to trip him up and pull him out of the ring. Parise then slid LaVigne into the ring and opened up the opportunity for Gimmick to force LaVigne to tap out to the ‘End Game’.
Winners:
Original Sin via submission at 14:34
After the match Alexander ‘The Great’ and Jimmy Gimmick walked up the ramp, both men giving their false regards to the audience as the last Anarchy before the brand split goes off the air.
