Hey there all you epic failures out there, this is The Brian Kendrick bringing you the very first edition of a blog exclusively available on the official FCW website. Because as all of you know, my point of view is the only perspective that matters around here. Does that sound arrogant? Sure, but it’s also honest. It’s the truth. No lies come out of my mouth when it comes to my opinion, and heck when it comes to predicting the outcome out of my matches, have I ever been wrong? I outwitted Edge in my debut like I estimated I would, I absolutely slaughtered the legendary Shawn Michaels and now this week I expanded my win/loss record. The final step, however, is coming up this Sunday. The moment I signed with this company, I had my sights set on the World Tag Team Championship. Defiance as a whole had a common objective, and that’s to walk out of Second Coming as champions. And now, after weeks of proving ourselves, it appears as if our plan will finally come to fruition. Those last steps, the final obstacles in our way are Edge & maybe Christian. I say maybe because who knows where that moron is at? According to the grapevine he got ‘cagenapped’ if you will, but with the suspect list dwindling, I’m starting to think he simply got lost on the subway train. There’s no way he could be of any use to anyone.
Nevertheless, I’m prepared to fight both men either way, as there’s always the possibility of this being all an act. A diversion to sidetrack Shelley and I, or perhaps to soften the blow when they face the inevitable to give them a valid excuse. It wouldn’t surprise me, to be frank. They have so much to live up to, but deep down; they know they’re not all that great. Which brings me to my next point, why exactly does the FCW Universe root for for E & C? What makes Edge & Christian so god damn special? Is it because they’re the first ever World Tag Team Champions? Because let me just say this, first doesn’t mean first-rate. You’re not some hero, some legend just because you’re the first holder of a championship. Newsflash, they haven’t done anything out of the ordinary with the belts. They don’t even care about their straps since, like I said before, Edge is too busy with the “Where’s Christian” mystery game. Ridiculous. They’re detrimenting the tag team championship’s prestige, and I’m going to change that. At Second Coming, I will show that the very transition of the tag team ‘gold’ to Defiance will bring the titles pride and honor, and upgrade it to platinum. Because words cannot describe how much the Tag team titles will mean once they fall into the hands of THE Brian Kendrick. So you’ll have to watch it go down to get the jist of what I’m saying. A picture worth a thousand words. This Sunday, Alex Shelley and THE Brian Kendrick: THE World Tag Team Champions. Imagine that. Sounds too good to be true, doesn’t it? Well you better believe it, because it’s inevitable. You can call it arrogance, but hey, it’s coming from THE Brian Kendrick, so consider it a cold hard fact.
