Friday Night Anarchy
Blade LaVigne vs. Wizz Kidd
Both these men gave it their all, trying to show what they’re worth here in FCW. It wasn’t a let down as they both pulled out some big moves, with the advantage shifting from one man to the next fairly often.
In the end Wizz looked to be coming out on top, but his opponent at Second Coming, Kaz, had other plans as he ran down to the ring much to the anger of the fans. Wizz Kidd threatened him and looked ready to scrap it out but Blade rolled him up from out of nowhere for the win.
Winner:
Blade LaVigne via pinfall at 9:43
Shane Helms vs. Mayhem
The fans were excited to see both of these men in action once again, but they never got to see it as neither man showed up for this one, clearly angering the fans.
Winner:N/A
Matt Hardy vs. Lumnious Robin
The fans were certainly hoping for something more than what they say before this, and they got it. Both men stood out in this one, Matt Hardy playing the veteran role against the high flyer, Robin. Robin pulled out in front early, never slowing down and trying to put Hardy away early. This didn’t work, and eventually Robin became tired, and Hardy began to work away.
These two both had big moments, clearly impressing management, but in the end when everyone thought Hardy had it won, Robin got to the ropes, giving him the momentum once again. Robin somehow managed to hit the ‘Climax’ super kick from out of nowhere which allowed him to get the cover, but the ref didn’t notice Hardy’s foot on the ropes.
Winner:
Luminous Robin via pinfall at 12:12
Alex Shelley vs. Christian Cage
Shelley looked terrific in his FCW debut, showing no signs of ring rust whatsoever. He dominated this match the whole time, not letting Christian amount to any real offense.
Alex Shelley went threw this one all by himself, not needing the help of his two partners as he picked up the big win over the veteran in his debut.
Winner:
Alex Shelley via pinfall at 9:58
John Cena vs. Kane
The fans once again never even got a match to get into. Kane came down to the ring, being sure to check over his shoulder in case of an attack from Cena, but none came. He reached the ring and waited, beginning to get angry when Cena quietly hopped the security barricade with another chair in hand. He slid into the ring, still unnoticed from Kane before cracking him across the back with the chair, knocking him straight to the canvas.
Security and Kennedy once again flood down to the ring, just as we saw them do last week, but this time they don’t hold back. They manage to get the chair away from Cena but he keeps battling back. Just as Cena is about to break free the Anarchy General Manager Mr. Kennedy cracks Cena right across the back with the chair, sending him straight to the mat.
Winner:N/A
Chris Jericho and Randy Orton vs. Evan Bourne and JaMarcus Haze
The fans were excited to see how these two sets of rivals could co-exist; unfortunately we won’t be finding that out with Jericho and Orton. Everyone was waiting for the arrival for Jericho, and as he stepped onto the stage he smirked at Orton before turning and walking out, leaving Orton furious and the fans a little pleased.
Orton still managed to battle his way through this one, eventually getting the pin on JaMarcus, who didn’t look at his best in this one.
Winner:
Randy Orton via pinfall at 8:27
Edge vs. The Brian Kendrick
Kendrick didn’t appear to be having as easy of a time with Edge as Shelley did with Cage. These two battled it out, Edge with the veteran experience and Kendrick with his speed on his side.
These two looked like they could go on forever, but clearly they’re partners had other plans. Appearances from both Shelley and Cage who were set to compete against each other later that night threw this match off course, leaving just about no one standing. Just as things were getting back to normal, with Shelley and Cage both gone, the Defiance leader took matters into his own hands, coming down to the ring and sealing the deal with an RKO to Edge behind the ref’s back.
Winner:
The Brian Kendrick via pinfall at 13:07
Shawn Michaels and Triple H (DX) vs. Alexander Parise and Jimmy Gimmick (Original Sin)
There’s a reason this one was the main event, these guys came out ready for a fight, and that’s what they got. They all were giving it their best, but Shawn clearly wasn’t at his best, slowing his team down the slightest bit. Triple H had to pick up the slack as he fought it out with his rival, Jimmy Gimmick. The ref was keeping an eye on those two outside of the ring and didn’t notice Parise nail Shawn with the low blow which opened up the opportunity for him to nail the Parise Piledriver to pick up the win.
Winners:
Original Sin via pinfall at 12:18
