Alignment Change - Face.
Since coming to FCW, it's been apparent to everyone that Jason Hearn doesn't have a bad bone in his body. With an undefeated streak, Robin's daredevil antics, childish innocence and happy-go-lucky demeanor were already beginning to win over the fans.
And then came Raven.
Convinced that the man that stood before him was a mirror image of what he was to become, Robin was quick to join the new Flock, hoping to get an answer as to what about professional wrestling keeps the participants so hooked. Raven was easily persuaded to let Robin tagalong, so long as he aided him with the resurrection of 'ECW' - whatever that was.
The move turned out to be one that Robin would regret. Beaten, abused and with his self-esteem torn to pieces, like many before him, Robin has turned into little more than a lapdog of Raven's, obsessed with 'earning his wings' and obeying his mentor's every command. Still determined that his answers will come, Robin refuses to break free or even to rebel, simply allowing himself to be treated like a punching bag.
Now reduced to a quivering wreck, likely to break out into tears just from hearing his 'mentor's' name, Robin's quickly turning into a shadow of his former, fun loving self. Nonetheless, whilst still as talented in the ring and as loved as the fans as before, there's a true feeling of sadness to it. As if he's trapped - like a robin in a cage.

Post by Jimmy Gimmick on Jul 28, 2009 16:51:53 GMT -5
Following in the example of Robin I decided to offer some insight into Gimmick's current psychological state as it pertains to his alignment and/or how the crowd perceives him.
Heel After months of nothing but arrogance, manipulation, and an outward display of what can only be defined as pure evil Gimmick has at least revealed his human side. A devastating loss to his protege caused the beginning of Gimmick's downward spiral in FCW, the loss caused him to deflect any questioning of his ability by completly distorting the events that had taken place.
It was only at this point when Gimmick faced his greatest fear: his father. The public revelation that owner R.M. Voglur is the father of Gimmick shone a light on the long unanswered question of why a man with such limited in ring experience signed a lucrative deal with FCW. In the latest turn of events it has been disclosed to Gimmick that Voglur, the man whom he has based his life around making proud and trying to please, intends to ask Gimmick to kill him in order to avoid a long painful death brought on by a heart disease.
Gimmick's weaknesses and vulnerability have been displayed to the audience yet he refuses to allow any sympathy or pathos to be developed through a misplaced sense of pride.

Like in real wrestling I'm what the following says I am, what do you guys think I am? I'm a heel, I'm a face, I'm a tweener... it's up to the masses.
